The “Aurora” of Aurora Investment Counsel is not merely our name. It’s our commitment to you. An aurora, also called the northern lights or southern lights, is a dynamic, vibrant, unique, and colorful nighttime light show in the Earth’s sky.
An aurora is created by the complex interactions of charged particles from the Sun interacting with the Earth’s magnetic field. Just as the Sun and Earth collaborate to produce an aurora, we work closely with you to achieve your objectives.

Our History
Aurora Investment Counsel began as the investment management service of Randy Seckman and Associates (RS&A), a wealth management firm for high-net-worth individuals in Atlanta, Georgia.
David J. Yucius, Jr., begins as RS&A’s portfolio manager for high-net-worth clients
RS&A starts money management services for institutional clients and financial advisors.
Aurora Investment Counsel created from RS&A’s wealth management unit.
Mike Doyle joins Aurora as head of Wealth Management.
Mason Gaddis joins Aurora as Vice President of Trading and Operations.
Assets under management exceed $200 million.
